About me

I'm a freelance full-stack developer living out of the Chicago suburbs. I'm looking to find work in the industry and create innovative and amazing websites and apps. I graduated from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in 2021 with a degree in Art and Web Design. Coming out of school I struggled finding work with my basic knowledge of web design and artistic ability in graphic design. As I was looking around I found out I really liked being technical and learning how web apps and mobile apps were made in the modern sense. So, I made the decision to continue learning more about coding and web development. I enrolled in NuCamp's coding bootcamp and learned frontend web development and full-stack web development. My favorite part of programming is the problem-solving and artistic aspect. Where I put a design to practical code. The feeling of figuring out a solution to a problem and making something work is a feeling I can't get enough of. My core stack is React, Next.js, Node.js, and MongoDB. I am also familiar with TypeScript, Java, and SQL. I am always looking to learn new technologies. I am currently looking for a full-time position as a software developer or being hired help on big company projects.

When I'm not coding, I enjoy playing video games, watching movies, drawing, weight lifting, baseball, and listening to music. I also am in the process of making an apparel brand. I plan to use all my skills to make an ecommerce/posting website.
